And just in time too.

striker_full2George has gone into all the exciting details over on the Bike29 blog, and I’m not going to rehash it here. Go there and read it if you want to geek out over bike details. However, I will reiterate that were I to elect for a nice rigid crabon fork, this bike would be lighter than Dicky’s. Apparently I could even get my hands on a white carbon Niner fork - which would be the fork and color of choice for this ride. And I strongly considered this, and then I went to see Dr. Steelthumbs who made me cry while working on my forearm problem, and I remembered why I have that suspension fork.

Headed to PA for the weekend to hang out with my family. Though it will be a quick trip I’m bringing my mountain bike . My cousin and her husband are coming up from VA for the weekend, so we’ll go out and get some of the fun Lehigh Valley singletrack. Unfortunately George has to stay and make money at the shop. Though I’m sure he’d like to go down as well, I bet he’s looking forward to a man-weekend (a meekend?).
