it’s been a while since i  posted. frankly, after spending three days riding singletrack in GA i didn’t really have much to say about riding boring, muddy roads in VT.

i’ve had some great rides in warm, sunny conditions - but this being VT in early spring, there’s also been a lot of cold, wet days. i’ve been back in the gym on that damned spin bike a few days and i spent last sunday out and about for almost three hours on an extremely grey and somewhat snowy day.

work has been taking over my life, and unfortunately it’s not the bike shop sort of work. well, it’s actually okay as I do enjoy my job particularly when it’s challenging like this. but all of the meetings are eating into my training time.

taking wednesday for example, i was supposed to be out for a two hour ride - but instead i spent the entire afternoon in meetings. luckily, i’m going to switch around rest days and I shouldn’t miss out on any hours.

that’s what’s going on. feeling a little bummed that it’s so wet, grey and cold here. reading in facebook about the rest of the world out on the trails - and we’re stuck on roads and still getting snowed on.
