this must be one of those weeks of rest and recovery. you know, go hard for a few weeks and then back off and then start building again. This is the first that i’ve really noticed. What I’m noticing is that i’m charged with energy. Now maybe part of it is from being sick this weekend which threw off my workouts, but it’s strange. I am totally full of energy.
Even being stressed out with work, even having gone to the mountain this morning and then done a weight workout tonight – I’m missing my time on the bike. And this makes me happy and makes me think that maybe this thing is working.
Less than a month until I head down to GA for the Women’s Spring Mountain Bike Weekend at Mulberry Gap. I’m feeling stoked that a work trip totally coincided with this event and that I’ll get to ride on actual dirt, on actual trails. And check out the famed Mulberry Gap as well. I’d better get my act together so I’m nice and strong. And hey, maybe i’ll even finish up this weight loss thing so I can be proud of being on target. That’s a nice goal too.
