Tough week. Between work, weather and daycare snafus I’ve found myself on the short end of the stick for workouts. It’s not that bad, really I’m just behind by one workout. But add in some bad eating this week and i’m not super happy with myself. Uh, but you know what? I’m no pro racer. I just do this for fun, so I’m definitely not going to wreck the fun by getting upset with myself when life steps in.

belt_mtnsThe cool thing is that my belt for my SSUSA belt buckle showed up. I had it custom done up with mountains and cactus in honor of Tucson, sunset dye job. Really it’s quite nice. And yes, it does has my name on the back. According to Deejay it’s supposed to say SS BADASS (that’s SS for singlespeed) – but i’m a little too humble to make myself a belt that says that. And i would have had it say my cool trail name, but i don’t have a cool nickname.
